Im not sure of people approached you about this but I can type longer here. W/O much further ado, Mako in LoK was named after the original voice actor in of Uncle Iroh in A:TLA. He died sometime during season 3 and the teenage Mako in LoK is named after his memory - not the combination of Mai+Zuko LOL!
